The lady running the place for the owners is lovely. It is a very small hotel and for their size they have amazing amenities. A nice little bar and sitting area. A small pool with lounge chairs. A roof terrace for the three rooms upstairs and another big roof terrace overlooking the town and ocean. The rooms are big. The bathroom is spacious (much better than most in Senegal). The seat on the toilet did not fit perfectly but if that is the only drawback...then you know it was good. Don't expect a quiet environment. It is in the middle of the village. You will hear the prayers loudly early morning and in the evening and on weekends, Friday to Sunday, you'll hear the 'lutte Sénégalaise', fight competitions with loud music till 2 or 3 pm. Single glazing (obviously) makes you hear it all. If you don't like noise outside, get a room outside the city centre or a european type hotel with soundproofing (if that exists...). I loved the place and had ear plugs. I liked that airconditioning is optional for 3000 CFA because I don't like to use it. There is a fridge and plenty of Nescafé and tea to drink. Nice decoration (chairs and cupboards). In all, an unexpectedly great experience because I stayed in quite some places much less worth their price.

Fred was wonderfully generous and helpful. She drove a colleague and I to a conference every morning. Stayed for four nights and would certainly stay again. There is a beach within walking distance and plenty of tasty restaurants near by. My first night there someone had a birthday party and they invited me for a gargantuan feast- what more could you ask for!

A really welcoming and relaxed place to stay. Hosts are very helpful - arranging transport to/from airport and other locations. Tasty evening meals available. Rooms are a good size and very clean. Good value place to stay. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. It's possible to do a pilates class - we did and it was very good

Communication was super fast and easy, the staff definitely did the extra mile to make our stay amazing, we loved the location, everything was clean, food was delicious, the whole experience was spotless. Great location beside the beach. I arrived after a long drive from Lompoul. I was actually put up in Hotel Mimosa in the end, the neighbouring sister hotel, because they'd lost the bookings. The room was comfortable. I dined at Sabo Bade which is such a whimsical and creative premises with amazing views out to sea. The perfect place to read, relax, and nap in the sun.

The welcome was exceptional. Cheikh and Gylene were accommodating, helpful, kind and welcoming. The property is confortable and clean. The location is great for relaxing with the beach just a short walk away. Overall a fantastic experience!

Fantastic location. Room very clean and with nice facilities (mosquito net, fridge, coffee facilities..) . The couple that owns the place are very nice and helpful. Nice and cosy swimming pool .Overall a great stay!!

The location is very convenient for those in transit or overnighting from the airport. The place is very quiet and peaceful. The service provided was excellent including the pick up and drop off. I certainly look forward to repeating the experience.

Can't beat the location, the staff, and the vibes of this old place. It is lived in, warped by the years, wind and sea. Haphazardly and eclectily fixed and 'upgraded' over decades, yet charming with good energies and loads of cats. I guess, at some point soon, the entire property will need a profound revamp, if it is to stand decades more.

A fantastic stay! Mme Béatrice was so incredibly helpful with everything. Big, comfortable room. Good location only 5mins walk from the beach. Nice pool in the adjacent building. Would definitely recommend.
