Can’t speak highly enough of our time at The Bali Resort, our stay was really enjoyable :) - Rooms: clean, comfortable and quiet - Pool: large, clean and a good temp - Food: excellent quality - Atmosphere: luxurious, relaxing and peaceful - Staff: friendly, kind and professional - Beach: beautiful white sand and not too crowded. The staff make it easy for you to get there - couple of minutes by the free tuk tuk shuttle and you’re there (they don’t have direct beachfront access) Thanks for a great stay!

The staff was amazing!! The Reception had a catalogue full of daytrips to choose from and organised everything for us. And the waiters were really lovely. They always served fresh fruits for breakfast and warm & cold dishes. And for dinner we had a delicious 4 course menu with lots of option to choose from. The premises are wonderful and the view of the ocean (from room and dining hall) is incredible.

We were very happy , very good location , calm beach ( no beach boys which can ruined your relax), the appartment was top notch and clean. Also personel was very friendly and helpful. You will also find one of the best food in neighbour restaurant - "Wishing Tree" and perhaps their best octopus served in whole Zanzibar (coocking by Italians). Everything. The beachfront location, the lovely pool and gardens, the large rooms with patios overlooking the ocean. The way the Swahili styled hotel bender in with the trees it was very private and peaceful too. Short walk to the rock restaurant. But above all, the staff. They were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble for them

Beautiful property right at the beach very close to The Rock. Great location to do the blue lagoon boat trip and also to see the starfishes. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food was freshly made and in big portions for a very good price. The atmosphere is serene in this place, perfect for relaxing days.

Wonderful location, sea-view, outstanding African facilities, just 5 minutes away from the Rock restaurant but also with very good own kitchen. A lot of nice and comfy corners to just rest and do nothing. Great for a three to five days stay with or without family.

Location is so beautiful. We travelled as a family, and even though there is no play ground for the kids, there were plenty to do. The kids spent most their time in the different swimming pools or down at the beach. The restaurant at the site have good food and good breakfast. Maybe a bit pricey, but ok. The staff is friendly. The place is calm and nature around it beautiful. Not so easy to swim in the sea on low tide, but bring some water shoes and go explore it instead.

We booked the pool villa and it was exactly as pictured. The rooms were very clean and the pool was clean and ready for us when we woke up. The staff are super welcoming and friendly. The breakfasts are huge! Great location for walking the beach.

The property was exactly as shown in the pictures, very comfortable and spacious villas, with privacy. The location of the property is great! With local guides who can take you for various activities in the ocean. The staff and owners are amazing both before and during your stay, with great service and timely support when needed. They create a WhatsApp group for easy communication through out and that I found quite useful!

Location was exactly as advertised. Beautiful quiet beach and tranquil environment. Although we were there during peak time, there was never a sense of intrusions. The shared pools were lovely spaces where the kids socialized. The individual swimming pool was the best feature of course: We probably spent half our day just jumping in and out of the pool.

Hekaya is located in a beautiful, peaceful beach location. Compared to other places we stayed in Zanzibar, we liked the vibe on the beach here the most. Just down the beach from the Rock and lots of nice restaurants up and down the beach. The water is clear and blue without sea urchins. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. We especially loved being able to take our meals on our sunny, private balcony free of charge. Can’t recommend staying here enough!! Thanks Geoffrey and Jacquie

We had an incredible stay! The staff was wonderful, attentive, and very friendly. The place was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The landscapes and the location of the hotel are idyllic and beautiful. I highly recommend this accommodation; we will never forget our stay here. The food was delicious, and we felt right at home. Honestly, this was one of the best places we've ever been. We traveled the whole island and this small hotel, included its location and atmosphere, the willingness of the staff and the services clearly dominated our entire holiday.
