The view is great, friendly staff, clean, comfortable. We did not see any whales, not even on a whale tour so that might be a trick to lure tourists. But we saw seals and others in the harbor.

Really nice, chill common area. Fireplace and balcony in the room were cool to have. Good access to depo bay (although a bit of a steep climb up the hill if you're walking)

The property is excellent in terms of its location, view and closeness to nature. It is located just next to the beach, which you can reach within a few minutes' walk. The view of the sunset is spectacular. The view from the room is superb as well. There are lots of glass panes, so you can enjoy the beauty of nature from sitting in a chair or lying down on the bed. The kitchen has all the utensils that you need. Very cosy and comfortable room and the bed. Ideal for a family outing and vacation.

This B&B is THE place. We were treated like family. I felt so cared for and attended to, the lovely owner made sure there were cookies and asked which wines we would like. I was absolutely astounded with the care and consideration with the room and accommodations. The entire place was decorated beautifully, (which is SO HARD for hotels and B&B to accomplish,) it was decorated not only perfect for the area, but perfect for Newport. Newport is GORGEOUS, and the Bed and Breakfast completely reflected it! It had beach access which was adorably decorated on the walk there and back. The bed was lovely and clean and it had a whole fireplace!!!!!!!! I really cannot overhype this place, I almost don't want to leave a lovely review because I'd love to gatekeep it all for myself! If you're lucky enough to snag a room, I'm JEALOUS!! 129/10 Love it.

Spotlessly clean, simple booking in process, nice receptionist, great location. Self service breakfast comprised of home made granola and was excellent. Plenty of communal facilities to make coffee etc., We had a takeaway and ate it in the dining room. Rooms are lovely, huge TV, great view, fridge and very comfortable bed. Linen including towels are first class. I was very surprised and pleased with the place

The location was wonderful. Beautiful view of the ocean, nice private beach, picnic tables, very comfortable bed and the room was nice and clean. In addition, they serve a great breakfast. I had biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, orange juice and coffee. My wife had eggs, muffin and a variety of fresh fruit with v8. Generous portions of each. Very pleasant stay!

The location is excellent. The buildings are old, but efforts to make upgrades are obviously being done. The staff was very friendly and it was exceptionally clean. There is a beach access at the end of the parking lot - very steep, but then it was like we had a private beach with very few other people there. Wonderful area of the coast!

SCP was a terrific place to stay. They are a smaller hotel, but that was wonderful!! It has a great warm feeling to it from the moment you walk in. The staff were superb, wonderfully friendly but not "in your face". They were there as you needed them. I loved the comfy swing in my room! If it had been a bit warmer (not SCP's fault!) I would have loved sitting there with the patio door opened so I could have listened to the sounds of the bay. My purpose was to get to the coast and relax. SCP helped me accomplish that!!
