The location is fabulous, right by the beach, and the property is just stunning. Upon arrival we were greeted with a cheese and wine hour as well as three kinds of cookies in the dining area. The room itself was HUGE and really beautiful, with a comfortable bed, two sitting areas, a fireplace, a spa bath and a shower. I was honestly floored. Also, breakfast was absolutely DELICIOUS. Those blueberry pancakes are amazing.

I booked the room at the very last minute (after another property bailed on me) and the staff was the most accommodating. They made me feel welcome, helped me get settled after a long drive, and had overall great customer orientation throughout my entire stay. The room was fabulous - large, with a high ceiling, spotlessly clean, with a super comfortable bed and nice linens. It had all the amenities that you may need and a great gas fireplace. The location is amazing - very close to the beach and dunes on one hand, and close to the town with its restaurants and cafes on the other. Really recommend that one!

It's the best place to stay in Monterey! It's close to all the attractions yet gives you a "tucked away feeling" which makes it so special. Having the pool / spa, and being right next to The Butterfly Sanctuary completes it for me!

We loved the location (had the 117 cottage). Super quiet (except the noisy neighbours at 11:30pm but I guess that can’t be helped). Super welcoming staff, mattress was excellent, powerful WiFi. The days we stayed it was 52° at night and the heating system was really helpful. We’ll be returning for sure in the future.

What a lovely place to stay! Quiet, clean, spacious room, comfy beds and special touches like popcorn maker in the room, wine hour in the lobby and a wonderful breakfast. Appreciated the coffeemaker, fridge and microwave in the room and warm welcome upon arrival. We'll be back. A short walk to Asilomar beach!

What a great find for our work trip to Carmel. The rooms are very nice, the property very clean and the staff were 10/10. Very friendly and helpful. We especially loved the location and the proximity to the walking trail along the shore.
