I stayed here for just one night after flying into JFK. The house is located only 10 minutes walk from Jamaica station, which was very convenient for my late flight. Self check-in was very easy and convenient, as Ricardo sent me detailed instructions. The room was very cozy and super clean, but I was especially impressed by the luxurious bathroom with soft new towels, new beautiful snow-white satin linens, and the mattress was the best I have ever slept on. Although I usually sleep very poorly in new places, even despite the time gap and late check-in, I slept very well after a long transatlantic flight and was full of energy for a full day in New York. There is a well-equipped kitchen, but since I do not eat breakfast, I just drank wonderful coffee, kindly provided by the hosts, and grabbed snacks to go. Unfortunately, when I found this guest house, it was already fully booked for the following dates, otherwise I would have definitely preferred to spend my entire trip here. The proximity of the station makes the location very convenient for visiting Manhattan, and for the same price I could afford just a hostel there. Definitely worth the money. I recommend it and thank you Ricardo for your hospitality!

Very accessible to the subway which was only a 4-5 min walk from here! It was clean, comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly. My partner and I came straight here after a 7 hour flight. We were completely buggered and they let us wait in the reception room until our room was ready! They also put on a complimentary breakfast from 7am to 10am. I’ve seen a lot of people complain about things being “empty” or they “run out” of food before 10am. Just want to say it’s first in, first serve! If they are busy it’s likely that you’ll miss out if you’re not there promptly at 7 or 8am. We were lucky enough to enjoy breakfast on our check out day. As we slept in most days till 11am (due to NYC Sun being out till 8pm) The neighbourhood can be a little bit of a culture shock if you’re use to a certain way of living. But we absolutely loved the neighbourhood and my partner was enjoying the $3 beers from the 24/7 corner store! We also had food from there and got the real American taste! We would happily stay here again. The staff were amazing! Accomodating and always readily available if we requested anything. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels - they do have an option to reuse your towels to reduce water waste, we just didn’t know how to ask for that, and by the time we remembered to ask when coming back from our trips into NYC it was too late. They also had parking as well, and offered free wifi, toiletries and had snacks for you to purchase or add to your room if you wanted. View is spectacular as well! 10/10

The location was great. You can get the hotel by the 7, N and R trains (Queensboro Plaza) and the E train (Queens Plaza and Court Sq) from the airport. The staff was super helpful and the room had enough space and very cleaned. I was a 1.5 mile away from Gantry Plaza State Park which is a great spot for walking, running and spending some spare time.

The location is great, very close to the metro station and the city center, but also to the ferry that you can take to Dumbo or Manhattan. The lounge area is also nice, the rooms are clean and they have sufficient space for travellers (I've stayed in a 4-bed female dorm), and it's also great to get a fresh towel. I've stayed here two times when I was in NYC and I like how quite it was for a hostel. The rooftop area is also a plus point to the place.

we chose the hotel because of it's location – you're in downtown Manhatten in like 20 minutes but also at JFK via public transport in one hour. the roof terrace was a great spot to chill out in the evening – with a stunning view to Manhatten. neighborhood is quite vivid with lots of bars, restaurants and breweries.

Great downtown Long Island City, Queens location near the E/M/R trains, and not far from the N/W/7/F/G trains. It's open 24/7, with helpful staff who provide a towel and linen. It's a decent hostel. I stayed in a 4-person room, which had two bunk beds.

Location great if wanting a hotel to stay in near JFK or closer, Jamaica Station. It would be too far to stay here getting into Manhatten, but the LIRR is right on your door step, so nothing is impossible. Staff were great, friendly. Its a 2 Star so nothing fancy, just it's a place to stay a night or longer if it's desired. 24hr reception who will arrange a taxi for you if you need it. Big room and bathroom with hangie cupboards. Beds super comfy with great big shower. Had usb and plugs to charge things.

Great location near downtown Long Island City, Queens, with the E, M, 7, and G trains. The hostel is open 24 hours with friendly and efficient staff. The hostel has a nice ground floor cafe/bar, a rooftop bar with live music on the weekends, and a social area. Across the street is a pedestrian restaurant/bar complex.

It is very close to Jamaica station. I needed a place to stay over night where I could access the Long Island Rail Road easily the next day. This location worked perfectly. There are a couple places to eat nearby and you can easily walk to the train station.

The location is awesome, next to subway which gets you to Manhattan in 10 minutes or so. There are Walgreens and food court nearby so my needs were covered. And a laundromat is just 2 blocks away – important for a longer trip. Relatively safe neighborhood and an awesome place to stay while exploring NYC.

the room was cozy and clean. the hotel was very comfortable. the staff was super friendly and the breakfast was really good with many options. the location was super convenient, with easy access to 3 subways. I would definitely go back to LIC plaza hotel and I would recommend it to everyone looking for an affordable and clean place to stay in New York.
