Comfortable camp in a great location on the edge of both Kruger & Manyeleti. Staff were very friendly and the food was great. Beds comfortable and the tents are spacious. Good birdwatching in camp. Excellent value for money.

Elvis - the excellent guide on our game drives. Location was fab - great access to the wildlife. Food - not high end dining but excellent, simple and filling.

Great location in Greater Kruger, bordering Kruger and Sabi Sands. A lovely couple as owners, well trained staff, good food and sightings of a lifetime made for a memorable stay. We had a waterbuck, 2 elephants and 2 hyenas in camp. Game drives are very well done, and you can get much closer to wildlife than in Kruger itself. The highlight of it all was witnessing 2 cheetahs hunting and killing an impala right before our eyes.

The staff are simply amazing and go well beyond the call of duty to make sure you are well looked after. The food was good, home cooking style and was well presented. They made me a packed breakfast as I was departing in the morning early to go into Kruger. Location is great for Orpen gate entrance. The camp is managed by the community members. Grounds are swept and kept very tidy.

- perfect location for game viewing , the benefit and animals of the Kruger , without the limitations . We saw all big 5 except the buffaloes in just 2 days .
- the swimming pool with drinking bassin for the elephants is as it is on the pictures .. very spectacular and what an awesome experience to stay in the pool while the elephants are visiting

Cannot fault our stay at Buffelshoek, fantastic location and people. If you are looking for an authentic stay in the bush with great hosts Dudley and Lynn, then you will not be disappointed. Our guide Baxton was also fantastic who went above and beyond to find the animals, which he did. Food was also excellent and plentiful, thanks to all.

Two 4 hour long game drives a day were wonderful. The location was lovely, truly open and unfenced with hyenas and jackals walking through the camp in the evenings. The tasty meals and drinks (beer, good wine and soft drinks) were plentiful. The owners were hospitable and made our stay very enjoyable.

Had an overall lovely stay here. Our guide Brilliant was the absolute best. Gave us lots of information about the animals and would try his best to find the animals we would like to see. Food was good and plentiful.

The location ie right in the bush. Games could come around you or pass your tent by.
The swimming pool was exquisite. At night seeing the stars and sitting 3 m away ( but safely on the raised deck) from huge wild elephants drinking.
Good for the soul.

everything about Buffelshoek was amazing, the location, the staff, the safari tours and the food. I would highly recommend this camp. a memorable experience which was the highlight of our holiday.
