Fantastic experience at Morgan Bay, so good we returned to M Bay, a week later, the day before we flew out from East London. As a bonus we got upgraded (Thanks you Nicola! at Reception) to a sea facing room next to the swimming pool. I think we were one of the few that used it that particular day, A tad windy just like home in Ireland. The facilities & room etc. were excellent & the staff couldn't have been friendlier. The Ernie Els red was sublime. Great experience also at the Spa, great way to while away an hour & feeling so refreshed after the pedicure & massage. Very nice touch having the Breakfast menu personalised with the guests names & a little info. on their stay etc. 10/10 for that. Next the food, breakfast was lovely with the freshly, a great array of food & the fried eggs done as we waited, a nice touch. Lovely slices of Cake to finish off. Enjoyed our snack at 6 in the bar before we headed in for a delicious seafood banquet with an array of fish & shellfish that was tricky to finish, but finish it we did, all washed down by the recommended white on the night by the attentive staff. Well worth the detour off the highway to this gem of a spot & all within an hour of East London. Do not miss the opportunity.

We had a lovely stay at Barefoot. We were warmly welcomed by Andrea, who goes out of her way to make you feel relaxed and to make sure you have everything you need. Accommodation itself was perfect - the room, the location and the handmade breakfast the next morning. Would certainly recommend! Thank you Andrea :)

There was an Eskom outage in the bay but the small backup system and rechargeable globes were plentiful as well as hot water and we had signal through the night despite the outage when everyone else was off. Very comfy beds with lovely linen. Perfect kitchenette. Quiet area and stunning views! Very good value for money

The location was fabulous with a fantastic sea view right on our doorstep. We spend a lot of time on the stoep to see and hear the ocean, and also had a view from the bed to the sea. A restaurant was also available on the premises. All and all a very relaxing stay. Thank you!

Excellent breakfast with lots of healthy options, very yummy. Very friendly staff. Family run hotel !!! Nearby restaurant served delicious food. Location of hotel is outstanding, very tastefully furnished with lot of love for details. We would habe live to stay lot ger.

The staff were lovely and the view and location was stunning! We received a cash refund for the breakfast we had paid for as Salty’s restaurant was closed - this was a wonderful touch.

The location is some of the best I've seen in SA! The town is wonderful and the breakfast at Salty fantastic with the view.

We loved our stay at Morgan Bay Hotel - the location couldn’t have been better! We really enjoyed the breakfast and took our coffees down to one of the little tables next to the beach afterwards to admire the view. The staff were all wonderfully accommodating and we felt very welcome. The facilities were also great.
