Most beautiful natural reserve perfectly suited for people who seek to detox, disconnect and embrace solitude in the wild. Much more sustainable (and in our opinion : real) than a private game reserve. Most cabins come with an outdoor hot tub that allows you to watch shooting stars at night until you’re ready to fall into your bed. The family running the place takes great care of their guests and even more so of ensuring the estate, and its flora & fauna keep blossoming. Bravo!

The rooms were so comfortable, and the views out to the ostriches, buck and zebra every morning were unbeatable. We sat in the jacuzzi while it rained outside (it is covered) which was so special. The hosts were SO accommodating and kind, which we really appreciated. We have already booked our return trip.

A hidden gem 🌸 We enjoyed every second of our 3-days stay - Happiness, the staff, the owner & her cute son did their utmost ❤️ The breakfast was delicious, Dinner as well. The Tranquility, coziness, location, hospitality all on a high level. Our twin girls enjoyed to play in the garden, Playground, pool and with the animals (cat, turtle), Billard. You can also book animal spotting for Zebras, antilopes, ostrich- Thank you Brian! Perfect Location as well if you Want to Go (just 20min Drive) to Aquila (which is way too expensive). Wishing you and your Familien all the best!!

We had a wonderful stay! The cottage was spotless. Everything was exceptionally clean, from the kitchen and bathrooms to the lounge and outdoor area. It had everything we needed, with all the utensils and comforts provided. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower had fantastic water pressure. We really enjoyed our evening braai, with wood thoughtfully provided, and even had a visit from the resident peacock! Our cat was very happy and relaxed, and it was lovely being surrounded by farm animals in such a peaceful, private, and safe setting. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing farm getaway.

The Lodge was ideally situated for our visit to the Aquila Game Park. The staff were delightful, kind, polite and helpful. The Lodge has a swimming pool. It also has secure car parking. Our room and bathroom were attractive, very clean and comfortable with air conditioning. Tea, coffee, milk and a kettle in the room.

It was absolutely fabulous experience. All cabins in this private reserve are thoughtfully situated between the hills, so you see neither other houses nor any lights over the weld - just stars at night. Excellent well equipped houses. Landscape is gorgeous, and my daughter walking around met a few antelopes coming up the hill.
