Lovely stay with great dinner and breakfast options. A fantastic quiet resort type safari lodge, which has self catering facilities as well as game drives close by. Breakfast was simple and delicious.

Close location to Cape Town is very convenient, the game drives are well organised and the guides are knowledgeable. Generally the facilities are very good and access for less able bodied is also good. As I was travelling with 2 elderly relatives, this was a bonus. Meals are adequate and plentiful.

Brilliant Safari and good location if you want to stay local to Cape Town.

Breakfast and dinner were ample and delicious. The location was perfect for us as we were headed to a nearby game park the day afterwards. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The bedrooms were comfy and well furnished.

We loved the location, the rooms were comfortable and the food choice generous.

If we lived nearby, we'd stay every weekend! The location is quiet and peaceful. The Gypsy Wagon is a perfectly made tiny house that's comfy and well laid out. The fact that there's no Internet or electricity makes it a perfect place to escape the stresses of the N1. Highly, HIGHLY recommended.

The facilities were relaxed and great. Focussed on the trust and respect of guests. The receptionist was very friendly, and everything expected was in place. We are a family of 5, and everything was well installed before we arrived including the 2 join room were properly set. Breakfasts were quite decent with some variety of fruit. Sunsets were majestic in this very dry desertic location. Not too many bugs and AC were working perfectly.

Location and grounds

Great location only 2-3 hours drive from Cape Town. Roaming elephants and other animals in a quite large gated area. Large pool and beautiful quiet spa department. Beautiful scenery and sunset. Wonderful helpful and service minded staff. Good classic breakfast, buffet lunch and dinner with a selection of local and regional dishes and wines.

The location and the game drive/ horse back safari was amazing. The animals had a lot of space and were treated with respect.
