A little piece of paradise! This was the perfect escape from reality—simple, comfy accommodation with the most breathtaking view of the ocean. Surrounded by nature, it was peaceful and relaxing from the moment we arrived. The hosts ( Gavin & Lisa ) were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The overall feel of the place. The host Jackie was outstanding with her hospitality aswell. The owners dogs, peekaboo and zippy were an added bonus,if you are a dog lover like we are! They are also so inviting .Will definitely be back.

On arrival we received a warm welcome and found the staff to be very accommodating during our stay We were impressed by the standard of the room and pristine condition of bathroom and shower, was great to have air conditioning and the view of the sea from the room was amazing, couldn't get a better location. Loved the sound of the ocean up close. Will definitely be back.

finally made it to the ocean, after 12 weeks in the hinterland, i thought it was on the ocean, but it was right on top of the crashing waves below. Room very good esp the air con, fridge and a microwave out in the lounge area, but it was the location which was very special, i was stuck here due to circumstances out of my control, but a great spot to be stranded at for a while. The owner of the lodge were very kind and helpful

Location very dodgy. During the day, there was no complete security. While we were out for a walk, we felt like we needed to go back and check on our vehicle

Nothing. We only spend 1 night there because what was advertised were totally not what we got there. I want a refund please as I was forced to get another place to stay.

Everything was as I expected and was overall good value for money - no ice views from my room too! Not a new building, but perfectly clean and comfortable, and though not in Umkomaas central (3 minute drive by car) the location is still convenient and safe. Lovely management, who I found friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
