This hotel and its panoramic view was a highlight of our vacation! The area is so picturesque. It has a restaurant, so being slightly removed from Grein was not a problem. It was a welcome change from being in the city & cobblestones and so far away from nature. I can whole-heartedly recommend this hotel and its restaurant and would encourage others to make a special effort to stay there.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always eager to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The breakfast offered a great selection, and the traditional dinners served at the in-house restaurant really added to the authentic alpine experience. One of the highlights of our stay was enjoying the brand new sauna, a fantastic way to unwind after a day of hiking. We also had tons of fun trying out the German-style bowling (kegelbahn) in the basement - a unique and entertaining addition to the hotel's amenities. The hotel is perfectly located for anyone looking to explore the stunning surrounding mountains. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a blend of charming tradition, warm hospitality, and modern comforts.
