Built in 1853 and right on the picturesque Fürstenweg, a small path leading to Neuschwanstein Castle, Gutshof zum Schluxen enjoys a quiet location in the middle of fields with grazing cows and horses, and Queen Marie von Bayern stayed here with her sons Ludwig and Otto. Füssen and Reutte are only a 10-minute drive away. Quiet and chill, nice place to stargaze

In summer and in winter, this centrally located but quiet hotel is an ideal starting point for all activities in Wildschönau. The hotel features a large sauna and relax area, as well as a heated outdoor pool (open in summer), both of which are free to use for hotel guests. It offers comfortable rooms with balcony, an excellent restaurant, an elevator and plenty of parking. Breakfast was delicious and good quality of products. The location was very good. It is near the cable car around five miowalk.

Very unique hotel, located in the center of the old town where everything is around you. Friendly and very welcoming reception team. Breakfast was amazing.

We had a lovely stay at the Maximilian hotel. The breakfast was spectacular, particularly the extensive fruit selection. The hotel was comfortable and impeccably clean. The staff were a delight. Highly recommend.
