I stayed here with my sister. The place is beautiful, perched above the village of Challapampa overlooking the lake. We spent the whole day sitting on our balcony in the sun, just relaxing. The addition of a kettle and tea in the room was much appreciated. Despite us not speaking much spanish, we communicated with the owners via WhatsApp and they were so helpful and provided recommendations. Breakfast is delivered to your room. There's a beach you can reach and we went swimming even though it was cold. Would highly recommend for a relaxing night on Isla del Sol. Having stayed another night in the south, we much preferred the north!

The location of the hotel is also excellent, especially if you're doing the popular "2 day / 1 night Copacabana + Isla del Sol" itinerary, as you can easily hike the south part of the island on the first day, and then do the south–north through hike (or the opposite) on the second day. The host can even help you with luggage logistics for a small fee in case you're pressed for time due to the boat schedules. Plus, the price even included breakfast which was great!

Isla del Sol can be reached by boat from the charming town of Copacabana from there is a 30 min uphill walk. You can hire a donkey ride for the luggages . The hotel's location on the island is privileged, as it is a 30-minute walk from the Temple of the Sun, Pilkokaina. The separate Island of the Moon is 8 km away. Copacabana can be reached from the cities of La Paz and El Alto approximately in a 3-hour drive. Awesome view, very clean and confortable. They staff gave us hot water to drink a cup of tea.

Location is great as it's super close to the Sun temple in the South part of the Island Cristian and his mom Rosa were super welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was a nice way to start the day By far the nicest place we stayed in Bolivia!! Highly recommend this place

The bathroom was large modern and very clean. The room had a heater and the beds had plenty of blankets. The service from the owner was fantastic. And she gave us delicious breakfasts. The hotel is located near the top of the Inca stairs and provides excellent views out over Lake titicaca. It is close to the hiking trails and the main restaurants in the town. Super value at this little hotel.
