The property is within 17 km of Pucón Ski Centre, Ojos del Caburgua Waterfall and Villarrica Volcano. I loved everything about this property. It is very cozy, nicely decorated, and well equipped. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, they provided me with a ton of information for what I could do in and around Pucon. Generally definitely one of the best hostels I‘ve stayed.

Located in Pucón, 17 km from Ski Pucon and 19 km from Ojos del Caburgua Waterfall, Cabañas el Dorado Pucón provides accommodation with free WiFi, a garden with an outdoor swimming pool, mountain views, and access to a sauna and a hot tub. Staff was suuuper friendly and helpful, they gave us a bigger cabin than what we booked. Staff always bringing wood and making fire. Fire kept living room nice and warm, even though outside was cold. Cabin is nice, big and with plenty of natural wood. Surroundings is nice, green and between the threes. Super hot shower with plenty of water. Walking distance from city centre, around 20 mins.

This place was an amazing and welcome retreat for resting up between work travel and some adventures on our time off. It is only a few blocks off from the action and business of downtown Pucon with its easily walkable streets, dining and night life. We also walked to the lake and along the shore from this location. The rooms were compact but very nice and they also offered exceptional reception services, community lounge areas, and parking, which was very convenient and comfortable. It was in all a very relaxing stay and a great deal for us while in Pucon.
