The room was spotless, cleaned every day and the bed was so comfortable! WiFi worked really well and there was hot water in the shower. Breakfast was nice too! Location was good, a short walk into town and in a quiet area. Would definitely recommend!

The best shared kitchen we have ever seen, extremely well quipped, so many spices you can use, very clean and even a bbq and pizza oven. We cooked every evening. Breakfast was great and a lot of food. When we left early in the morning we even got it to go in a cooling bag! The facilities were amazing. The room was great, super clean with a fridge in the room. The bed had a heating blanket so it was always warm during the night. The garden is very nice, you can park your car there. The host was extremely nice and helpful. After 3 months in South America one of the best hotels we had!!!

Press the bell, staff invite me in well before check-in time, rapidly offer me a tidy clean and warm room. Even offer me free breakfast.🙏🏻 Truly kind and helpful.

Comfortable beds. The host was nice and friendly. There's a place enough to park a car. Drinking water is provided as well. The location is good, close to the center. Overall, I am satisfied with the house.

We spent 9 nights in the hostel. A hostel is exactly the type of accommodation that suits me. It's not luxury, but I don't look for that when I travel. I prefer the charm of the place. And that's exactly what I found here. I felt very comfortable there. The room was OK. The private bathroom was OK. Hot water always. I liked sitting in the hall and in the garden. The team that works in the hostel are friendly people. They were very helpful in organizing the climb to Cerro Toco. It was enough to ask and they organized everything very well.

Absolutely fantastic hostel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best we had travelling South America. The kitchen was very clean and provided cooking oil and spices for guests. This we loved as we are travelling on a budget and found the cooking facilities good. The shower was hot. The shared dorm only has four single beds. Lockers provided. The common area outside was lovely to hang out in. One of the best places we have stayed in on our trip.

The rural location yet only 7 minutes drive from San Pedro itself; feeling of being safe (the security gate); layout of the site afforded maximum privacy; the outdoor space for each cabin (lounge area, dining area and barbecue); indoor space; the welcome and helpfulness of the host. We had a really good stay.

Το Hostal Ayni παρέχει καταλύματα με κήπο, βεράντα και δωρεάν WiFi. Hostal Ayni lived up to expectations. Just what I was hoping for. I stayed in a private room with a shared bathroom. The room was clean, spacious enough to layout my things, had a very powerful tabletop fan (which can be needed some nights), and had a comfortable bed with a very warm comforter for those cold nights. The location of the hostel is an advantage to others because it is easy walking distance to the center of town, which makes it quiet and peaceful away from the noise but not too far either. There is a big open kitchen for use with all the amenities needed, a fridge, stove, and ample seating inside and outside. There is a lot of seating outside and two hammocks to hang out or have meals. This allowed all the guests to not feel crowded around each other. There’s a tienda very close by (a few metres) that comes in handy if you need something quickly (water, snacks, etc.). The hosts were very accommodating to all requests for the 5 days I stayed there. They even allowed me to stay a little longer than checkout time to align with the pick up time for my shuttle to the airport. The bathrooms are cleaned daily so there was always a welcoming bathroom to use after a full day out. It is not your typical hostel feel but more like living in a home, which is good because it attracts more mature guests and keeps the place quiet. I highly recommend this place.
