Have in mind if you are coming from Europe or elsewhere the 110V plugs, the place has just enough infrastructure to feel comfortable, but be mindful it’s in nature. Setting is beautiful with river and the ocean, and staff was really helpful about where to eat, helping us arrange the transport from the airport, and we were pretty demanding guests. Also there have 3 adorable kitties in the house.

We loved Sintropia. Staying there was a unique experience. We got a comfortable cabana with an amazing view from the mountain to the sea and above the clouds, waking up with the birds singing. The cabana was spacious and comfy. The personnel was extremely nice, planning and guiding activities and hikes (walk in the jungle where you can see the plantations, the view, waterfalls, monkeys and more). You can get all your meals there and the food was really good and affordable. It feels really special, peaceful and remote (with good internet though :)) - which is amazing if this is what you are looking for. The link they share in advance explains very well activities available and how to get there: 30 min by jeep from Minca center plus a 10 min hike, which is definitely worth it; the lodge helps with the suitcases and bags.
