Special appreciation to Mr. Ahmed at the front desk for making our early check-in smooth and hassle-free, and to Mr. Eihab, the Front Office Manager, who kindly checked on us every day to ensure everything was perfect. The Aqua team brought so much fun and energy, while the restaurant chef and service team impressed us with their delicious food and excellent service. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and perfectly located right on a stunning beach. The pools are spotless, the food is fresh and delicious with lots of variety, and the whole place feels like luxury. Special thanks to Michael and Mr. Samuel at reception – extremely respectful, helpful, and always ready to assist. They truly made our stay even better! Rooms are spacious and very clean. The beach is crystal clear, and there’s great snorkeling too. Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and high-end holiday

It's pretty perfect, the staff is extremally helpful especially the Guy if the customer care a pure visual delight of sandy/desert color schemed natural materials in a freshly renovated complex- some floors you just want to bring with you, they are so beautiful. It has a modern, yet cozy feel to it. Rooms are huge with spacious balconies with sunbeds looking over the sea . Service is absolutely great and its spotless clean. There is an amazing variety of food in Buffets, all served in a very nice way. Fresh mango and orange juice every morning... just to name some of it. Honey is served in natural honeycombs in specially designed silverware, makes one speechless. Even the music is mild and curated. . It's a trap, you want to go back. Overall feeling is calm, classy, airy and tasty!

Every thing there was perfect, and the credit is to Hager great assistance from her at any time, what ever we needed we got in few minutes, my son got injured and they took him to the clinic and doctor treated him within few minutes, it was really good experience there

Located along its own private beach, Gemma Resort offers views over the Red Sea. It features indoor and outdoor pools, and wellness centre. Several restaurants and bars are also available. We are group that was travelling around in Europe before reaching Egypt and Marsa Alam was our first destination in Egypt. Gemma resort set the bar high to our expectations for the rest of the trip and an extraordinary example for Egyptian hospitality. Everything in the hotel was perfect. The rooms spacious and cleans, pools clean and in different locations and beaches were amazing with great snorkeling spots. I can not speak enough about the food, no moment in the day where food is not served and in different cuisines with amazing quality. The most interesting part to me thing is that everyone is assuring you are having good time in your stay and I literally mean EVERYONE. Whether it is Mr Mahmoud, Hazem and Mohamed on the front desk or Atef and Abdo on the pool and the beach or Chef Mohamed Salah in the kitchen, every single one of these gentlemen made sure that our stay was comfortable and did not hesitate to provide the required assistance.

We visited this resort as a Norwegian couple in July, right after traveling through Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan. After a hectic cultural trip full of sales pressure from locals, we were looking forward to ten relaxing days at a five-star resort – and Citadel Pickalbatros absolutely delivered in many ways, though there are a few things you should be aware of. 🌴 Facilities & Hotel Grounds The hotel is absolutely stunning. The views, architecture, beach, marina, and pool areas are spectacular. There are countless shady spots to relax and cool down – essential in 35+°C heat! We stayed in Building 2 with a marina view, and the room was fantastic: clean, spacious, and with new water bottles delivered every day. It truly feels like its own small vacation town, and even after 10 days we still hadn’t had enough. 💪 Fitness & Activities The gym is excellent! There’s also table tennis, billiards, tennis courts, snorkeling in the marina, and fun shows in the evenings. Lots to do – you could easily stay for over a week without getting bored. The snorkeling in particular was a highlight. The "Animation Team" was a bit confusing. They approached us daily to talk, but didn’t seem to offer much. At the evening shows they were introduced, but didn’t actually host or do anything. After 10 days, we still weren’t sure what their purpose was. 💬 Service & Staff The hotel staff were absolutely wonderful. Everyone was kind, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. Wherever we sat, someone would come by to offer us drinks. The service was top-notch. We just wish the drink portions were bigger – in that heat, 0.1L of soda doesn’t go far. Conclusion Despite a few annoyances, we fell completely in love with this place. Citadel Pickalbatros is a stunning resort with everything you need for a relaxing and exciting holiday. The notes above are simply helpful tips for future guests – not reasons to avoid it. If you choose this hotel, you won’t regret it.
