Boasting spectacular gardens leading down to the Tormes River, it offers a gourmet restaurant and free WiFi throughout. Every staff member here seems to want to be here and are not just here as a job. From check in to restaurant to spa to wine tasting everyone is extremely caring and want to make the stay the best possible Food was delicious and huge portions. Wine is different which makes it a really good experience and not like everywhere else. Spa was brilliant and very relaxing. They are very particular about privacy in the spa so you actually land up getting a very private space for the time booked. Very thoughtful If you are in the area I would highly recommend at least a night stay. You will leave feeling like a princess/ prince when you leave as that's how much effort the staff put in.

Posada Real Castillo del Buen Amor is a 15th-century castle, set in the Castillian countryside. It has been carefully restored to keep its structure and many of its features exactly as they have been for centuries. It offers lovely views of the countryside and features a seasonal outdoor pool, seating areas and a library. Extremely charming castle. The rooms have a castle-like feel, which is what I was looking for. I don’t want to enter a castle and have my room be like the Hilton. The castle is just amazing, as is the breakfast and dinner, abundant. A rustic feel, but so confortable and charming. And the different halls in the castle are decorated with the most amazing old furnishings and decorations. Many medieval-like places to hang out.

The apartment itself is absolutely beautiful, full of natural light with a lovely view from the balcony. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need during your stay. Another bonus is the location, just a 5-minute walk to Plaza Mayor and the city centre. Overall, this was truly one of the best apartment stays I’ve ever had. I’d happily stay here again on my next visit to Salamanca and will definitely recommend it to my friends!

Large flat with a sliding door to partition off the bedroom. Modern, clean, comfy bed.

Our host gave comprehensive instructions for our arrival, met us soon afterwards and couldn't have been more helpful. There was secure parking for our motorcycles under the apartment. Great value for money.
