NorwayThis was our second stay at the Hideaway and it was just as lovely as the first time. We were welcomed to a warm home, which was lovely on a cold December day. The house had Christmas decorations which we thought was a very nice touch. Everything was just as great as last time - well equipped kitchen, very good shower, comfy bed and seating, fast WiFi. Our dog was very comfortable here too and we appreciate the dog bowls and dog mat. No complaints its a clear 10/10 for us. Thank you for another wonderful stay x

Beautiful location and grounds. Great walks along the river bank and not far from Aberdeen city centre. We only ate breakfast there because we couldn’t take the dog into the bars to eat, but the breakfast was great.

Had a lovely stay for 2 nights. The room was well layout, included all the amenities needed for a comfy stay. Great bathroom & shower pressure too. The location was good, quite, it’s within walking distance to Ballater & driving distance to sites around the area. Plenty of on-site parking as well. A Lovely couple who own the place, you can see they put a lot of love and energy into making it a good experience for guests.

It's a perfect place to stay if you like to just come and go and look after yourself.
Easy wall from the train station (about 10 minutes). Room and bed was super comfortable, shower was great.
Breakfast is a serve yourself buffet which is great. There is also a kitchen that is available.
I was staying for pleasure and wanted to go out predawn to take photos. I did that and came back to make breakfast before anyone else was awake.
Although hands off, the hosts were very responsive and helpful when contacted.

A very pleasant stay. The hosts are very nice and helpful, great contact during the stay and before arrival - they responded quickly to messages and were very friendly. Very good breakfasts. Room and bathroom nice, clean and comfortable. Great location close to the city center and the beach. If I come back to Stonehaven (it's really lovely) I will stay again.

Lovely 3 bedroom bungalow in a good location. Superbly appointed and in excellent condition. A real home from home place to stay for a relaxing week away, set in beautiful well kept gardens and surroundings. We were met by Ron and Alison the hosts, they were very helpful but not intrusive.

I had a fantastic stay all round, my room was really nice, the location was fantastic. Secure gated parking, control of the temperature of my room (which are normally way too hot for me to sleep!). Incredibly handy for local amenities in easy walking distance. All followed by a well prepared tasty breakfast that gave me a great start to my working day! In all a fantastic place to stay!

Absolutely beautiful house in the best location. We loved our stay here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. It was lovely and spacious, super clean and warm and the Xmas tree and decorations were really welcome.
