The Bridge House is a great place to stay and our hosts made the stay so special. The location could not be better for exploring the area and the view over the river Wye is memorable. The room was all we could have asked for and the bed was very comfy. We both loved the breakfasts, they were the icing on the cake.
Was a lovely place to stay, great central location, a beautiful property with period features, Craig and Vicki were very helpful. I’d gladly stay here again.
Everything about this place is just perfect. Great location. Very comfortable place to stay. Wouldn't hesitate to return
Location was excellent,a beautiful old Elizabethan manor….plenty of parking..breakfast and dinners were really good….staff at hotel were most helpful and service at breakfast and dinner prompt…we had a very pleasant stay…..excellent place to stay to visit the Wye valley and Forest of Dean.
Location; halfway down high street very near eateries, shops and river. Free parking accessed from road at the back. Good breakfast; unlimited tea and coffee, cereal, toast and choice of cooked. Comfy beds in pleasant warm room. Bar is popular with locals. Great place to stay to tour Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, Gwent Coast and Black Mt's.
Great place to stay. Such friendly welcoming people. Breakfast and coffee was great too. The manager was very accommodating. Location fantastic. They have a carpark but itcwas a bit small for my van but that was OK because there is a carpark opposite that isn't idiously expensive. I am definitely staying there again.
This was our first visit to the Forest of Dean. Hazeldene Cottage was a perfect choice of accommodation. It is bright, very clean, comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The location is lovely and very quiet, especially at night, so we slept very well. Jo's communication re. booking was excellent. We had a lovely stay.
.Very quiet place to stay, had a gorgeous view from our bedroom window, really clean and staff were friendly. Room was really big and the bed was massive and very comfortable. We liked the location very much, it is out of town and quiet. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the gym.
We had a lovely stay here. The pumping station is in an amazing location, in the middle of the forest with walks from the door. Very peaceful and rural. The accommodation was exceptionally clean with all the facilities you would need for a comfortable stay away from home. The owners were really friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our little chats. We will definitely like to visit again when it’s warmer and not so muddy!
