Good thing is that the place is secured and entry to the property is by password In brief, the only uncomfortable thing in the apartment is lack of lift, especially if you're renting in the 2nd floor.

Skipton Castle, which dates back to the 11th century, is less than 10 minutes’ walk away. I had two meals, dinner and breakfast. Both were very good. The room was comfortable and clean.

Everything was perfect including surroundings.

There is a bus stop outside of Ascot House, which has regular services to the city centre. York boasts many historical sites including Cliffords Tower, York Minster and the Medieval Walls. This hotel is a very lovely house. The room is big enough to fully open 3 luggages 😍. The bed is sooooo comfy. The bathroom is great. The breakfast is fantastic. It is the best choice for people traveling by car. Park here and enjoy the city. You don’t have to worry about the fees and tickets. Every corner of this hotel looks so cute to me. For the location, it just takes around 15-20 mins walking to the city center or you can take the bus which is not far. The owner and staffs are very nice and friendly. 100% Recommend this place

Clementine's Guest House is just a 10-minute stroll from the historic city centre and picturesque Shambles shopping area. York Railway Station can be reached in a 20-minute walk. The room was very clean, wonderfully decorated and in a great position to walk to city centre. All staff we met were very chatty and friendly.

This charming, 19th-century converted farmhouse is just a mile from junction 31 of the M1. It features real log fires, traditional British meals, and bright, elegant rooms.

Each room at The Red Lion includes a private bathroom and free Wi-Fi access. Rooms also include tea/coffee facilities, a hairdryer, and ironing facilities for guests. We were very happy with the Red Lion. The staff was lovely, everything was spotless, the room was beautifully furnished, the beds comfy, the black-out blind a plus and the bathroom very nice. Security was taken very seriously, which was reassuring. The breakfast was excellent. Freshly cooked to order and absolutely delicious. We much prefer this system to a buffet and it saves on wastage. All in all an exceptionally good stay.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Leeds City Centre is situated in the waterside Granary Wharf area, only 2 minutes' walk from Leeds Railway Station and a 7-minutes' walk from the city centre shops. Limited parking is available. Room was neat and tidy, sink was leaking.
