They prepared everything with care, showed me the good restaurants, helped me planning the trip, and even took me to a funeral, where I met their bigger family who are all great people. The bed was comfy, and sleeping under the roof hearing the rain was soothing (I have phobia of rain but this time I was calm). The little place is well decorated, fits the vibe of the hosts couple. The moment I met them I knew I got to get a good trip, that’s how they made me feel. I arrived early and left late, but they always welcomed me and had me a place to rest.

The guest house was a wonderful gem in the middle of Rantepao, conveniently located near all the Tana Toraja points of interest. I had a traditional Torajan home all to myself and it felt so special. The place was extremely clean, had all I needed. It is part of a typical Torajan family's compound. Aldi, the host went out of his way to help and assist me with everything. He even waited for us until late at night (and I felt horrible about it, because it was like 1.30 AM when I arrived), as I was driving from Makasar and arrived later than expected. He organized a 2 day tour with Mr. Ino (also recommended), who showed me around the main sights at VERY reasonable cost. The place was spotless, comfortable, and felt like I was in a documentary. Absolutely recommended. As for Tana Toraja.... it is a unique corner of our world. Make sure you spend at least 2 days there to see everything. Ask for Ino's services.

A wonderful destination for the most surreal and bountiful of places. I would recommend this quaint, traditional and secluded homestay to anyone. The simple kindness, the all-encompassing scenery and the generous hosts. It is basic, but that's makes it all the more beautiful. Also, John will gladly take you around with a smile upon his face, and even take you to a funeral if you are lucky. It was one of my favourite experiences of my trip!

Very private, not much people around even it has a restaurant down there. The staff really nice. Overall, it is clean even some facilities looks old and need upgrade (sink, hand bidet)

He answered all my questions about Ma’nene and gave me invaluable tips. Were it not for him I would have had to pay a lot for a guide. The Homestay has beautiful views of the mountains and the breakfast is great too. 100% recommend this place. For the price it’s a fantastic deal.

Highly recommended ! Nasrul, his brother and the whole family was a highlight of our stay ! The house is simple but has anything you may need and the host will take care of the rest, they rent motorbikes to go around, can prepare catering and all tours (both historic around the caves and naturalistic in the neighborhood). We really enjoyed and felt welcomed as in a family

I went on multiple trips with the husband around Toraja, he speaks good English and has endless knowledge about the area. Good banana pancakes in the morning with delicious juice and thee or coffee.

Το RAMMANG-RAMMANG HOUSE είναι σε Maros, σε απόσταση 12 χλμ από Kampoeng Karst Rammang Rammang, 25 χλμ από Bantimurung Waterfall και 45 χλμ από Fort Somba Opu. The room is basic, but the bed is very comfortable and the family we stayed with is so lovely, that we rate this as one of the best stays we had during our trip in Indonesia. Just sitting on the terrace and watching the villagers is a very nice experience. I would definitely recommend this stay to anybody who wants to taste the local life for a few nights.
