We only stayed one night, but it was a very pleasant stay. The family gave us a warm welcome. The accomodation is new. The food is very good. We did the tours early in the morning and in the evening. We had a good guide who helped us see a lot of animals and birds and helped us make very nice pictures.

I love the little villa! Perfect little getaway house. Lovely pond outside. I realized that the location didn't really suit me, but Debora and Jeremy went all the way to help me out! There's not really any restaurants in the countryside neighborhood and Debora offered to cook more of their own dinner, which was lovely! 😍🙏 Over all I had a lovely stay!

My homestay hostess Aci prepared wonderful meals that were well balanced and portions were plentiful. She spoke superb English and was instrumental in securing opportunities for snorkeling trips and all the necessary equipment which was my intended focus. The neighborhood where her homestay house is located provided a true Bunaken Island village experience. Bunaken Marine Park and boat access is right in the back yard as the property is on the water.

"Lekker gezellig" fits perfectly for this dive resort. The staff always takes the time for a friendly conversation and is super helpful. Greis and Inka really made a difference to our stay. Everything we need is arranged very quickly. The pickup from the airport was very well organized. We have enjoyed the food, both indonesian and Manadonese dishes, it is very fulfilling and accommodating to our preferences and needs. Breakfast is a pleasant surprise every morning and always comes with bread, fresh fruits and local coffee. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. We really like the terrace with the view, too. The pool is awesome for relaxing and bird watching. Additionally, the owner appears to be very involved and genuinely cares about the guests' happiness. We love the jungle vibe of the resort, very peaceful, with many birds and other beautiful creatures around. The jetty through the mangrove really adds to the experience, a perfect location to do mindblowing dives.  I would recommend lekker gezellig to anyone who enjoys the jungle experience and is looking for warm North-Sulawesi hospitality.

To MAMALIS HOMESTAY βρίσκεται σε Μανάντο, σε Sulawesi Utara και σε κοντινή απόσταση από τα σημεία ενδιαφέροντος Παραλία Pangalisang και Παραλία Liang. Very cute and simple homestay! The location on the beach is very nice and mamalis is a very good cook. The couple will help you to rent a scooter or organize snorkeling trips and there is a good diving center next door. It might be cheaper to only book one night and then extend the stay, since they charge less when it's not on this platform. Communication is through translator app and the neighbours,but it works well!

Σε απόσταση 1 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Παραλία Pangalisang σε Μανάντο, το Coco Divers & Homestay Bunaken διαθέτει καταλύματα με δωρεάν WiFi, ιδιωτική παραλία και βεράντα. The twin room is beachfront while the double room is streetside. I recommend beachfront, of course, it has a better view but also less noise from the roosters that are across the street. The double room has more indoor space, and big outdoor sofa bench, if that's what you need. It's right in the kampung village, so it's absolutely susceptible to more noise and activity; but it's also closer to the main pier and other restaurants. Lucky is a fantastic host, and the family puts a lot of care into the homestay. It's simple but very clean and cozy. There's many small thoughtful things about the place, it's an easy place to stay. The food is different every day, and it's easy to ask if you do/don't like something. Communication is very clear and prompt. The reef out front is a long swim before you see anything, but it's nearly the same with other places.

Το Mikha Homestay BUNAKEN έχει θέα στην πόλη και διαθέτει ιδιωτική παραλία και βεράντα. Το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Παραλία Liang είναι περίπου 1,2 χλμ μακριά. If you are coming here for snorkeling, Pangalisan beach and the area in front of Bunaken cafe n resto is the best and easiest shore-entry snorkel I have found. It's a 15 minute walk. The area directly in front of the homestay is not well-suited for snorkeling due to boat traffic and currents. It's so good that I'm coming back again.

Wawowow is a very special place. But it’s not for everyone. If you want to be away from city sounds and pollution, way out in the peace of the countryside among farms and mountain views — and if you are a person who enjoys the ruggedness of tent or A-frame cabin camping, then you will love Wawowow. Alvin has built this off-the-grid retreat himself, adding to it each year. He and his staff are caring and helpful. The well laid out grounds are covered in lawns and most if not all tents and cabins have small brick firepits. Alvin can provide the firewood for them. When I was there a number of people sat around these campfires at night singing and playing guitars. No sound amplification is allowed. Some people chose to stay on the grounds for several days. I used it as a jumping off place each morning to tour different parts of the Tomohon area each day., returning each evening.
