The bungalows are cosy and confortable, scooters are available to go around to visit Sumba, and last but not least, the food is super delicious. We had an amazing stay!

The location was great for viewing sunsets over the ocean. The restaurant and pool area was well designed. The food was great and the chef was happy to go off menu for us to let us try local dishes.

Lydia was a brilliant host, nothing was too much trouble, she, organised motorbikes for us as well as a car and driver for our trip back to the airport via a lovely beach club, also horse riding, advice on what to do and see, and she even spent time teaching my husband to cook some local dishes. Her children were absolutely delightful. The new swimming pool was great and will be amazing once the decking is finished. The rooms were extremely comfortable. If you really want to avoid the tourist crowds and spend some time in an incredible unspoilt location then this will be perfect for you. We would highly recommend getting round on the mopeds as it is the best way to see the absolutely stunning scenery (but be careful of potholes and slippery mud if it rains).
