Mary and Kieran are lovely people, warm, friendly, and welcoming, with lots of nice recommendations about Sligo and the surroudings. I loved every moment of my stay.

It was great having more than just a bed, and enjoyed the couch/tv area. The room also smelled amazing during our whole stay :) The downstairs restaurant was great to have, especially as the other restaurants in the area closed quite early - not sure if that's not all or because it's off-season (March). The staff were very helpful and accommodating!

Rooms have i-Pod docks and sea or countryside views. Everything was perfect as always. We have stayed year after year at Strandhill Lodge and Suites. The staff can't do enough for you. They are amazing and so welcoming. The hotel is immaculate and so comfortable. It really is a beautiful hotel to stay at, hence why we return year after year.

The spacious rooms at the Waterfront feature TVs, work desks and seating areas. Rooms also include tea/coffee-making facilities, ironing equipment, large bathrooms and some rooms have Atlantic Ocean views. Stunning position overlooking the best beach. This hotel allows you to see the light changing over the bay which feels like every 5 mins. Wonderful staff. We had executive rooms which were huge - ample storage space, peaceful view, everything 'worked' in the room, comfy beds, good shower. This place is simple, perhaps a bit dated for some but it has a special charm. 5 mins from the victorian seaweed baths, which is a must. Other than that just walk on the beach and relax. The restaurant serves great chowder amongst other goodies. Special shout out to Sarah on reception and Olivia and Mary in the restaurant
