We had a delightful time exploring the Matera area in the evening. Now, this is a story that only applies to Koreans (and I want to clarify that I'm referring to South Korea, not North Korea ). When we started craving Korean food, we heard about a restaurant called "Chimac" here, so we decided to visit. This experience was also very refreshing. If anyone is curious about Korean food, be sure to visit this place.

Matera city centre is a 10-minute walk from the property, while Marina di Ginosa beach can be reached by car in 45 minutes. Everything! The location was perfect, the room was great and the staff was very helpful. Matera is a stunning place to visit, but as with all ancient towns, it can be a challenge to navigate. The Belvedere II avoids that issue as it is perfectly located on the way into the town, this means no hauling suitcases through the labyrinth. There is also a great, secure, covered parking lot very close by.
