The rooms were clean and spacious, nicley decorated. Staff gave great tips and good instructions

Matera city centre is a 10-minute walk from the property, while Marina di Ginosa beach can be reached by car in 45 minutes. Everything! The location was perfect, the room was great and the staff was very helpful. Matera is a stunning place to visit, but as with all ancient towns, it can be a challenge to navigate. The Belvedere II avoids that issue as it is perfectly located on the way into the town, this means no hauling suitcases through the labyrinth. There is also a great, secure, covered parking lot very close by.

The property features city and quiet street views, and is 200 metres from Casa Grotta nei Sassi. The accommodation offers full-day security, and luggage storage for guests. Spectacular suite in ideal location. Excellent communication and super amenities. Bed was very comfortable. The patio sunset view was beautiful and private above street. Breakfast restaurant had nice coffee and selection of pastries. Sad only one night here.

Great location and spectacular views from the terrace (day and night!) Delicious breakfast. Very kind and helpful staff. An unforgettable experience!

In Pietra Hotel is set in the pedestrian area of Matera, 200 metres from the city centre. Private parking is available 300 metres away. This hotel is wonderful. The staff are really lovely (they also gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant which uses only local produce, ask them, it was fab!) and the location is perfect; an easy walk to everything. It's so cute inside as well, just like the photos they published on here. Breakfast was great as well, and when we needed to leave before breakfast on the final morning, they packed one up for us the night before. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel. It was perfect.
