Staff were wonderful before and during our stay. Good communication and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Fresh and locally sourced where possible. A delightful, tranquil location interrupted only by chimes from the bells from the local church (stops at night!), birdsong and cuckoo calls. Gignese has bars, cafes and restaurants and is within walking distance. Stresa with its lakeside promenades, shops and many restaurants is 15-20 minute drive away.

I had read the previous reviews and yes Roberto has thought of everything you might need. The apartment was in a old renovated building, it was spotless, it looked newly refurnished it was quiet,comfortable bed,location wise too, a 5 minute walk to the ferries ,bars and restaurants and bars all close by.
