Staff were wonderful before and during our stay. Good communication and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Fresh and locally sourced where possible. A delightful, tranquil location interrupted only by chimes from the bells from the local church (stops at night!), birdsong and cuckoo calls. Gignese has bars, cafes and restaurants and is within walking distance. Stresa with its lakeside promenades, shops and many restaurants is 15-20 minute drive away.

It had a fully-equipped kitchen, a washing machine and all the necessary conveniences for a longer stay. There is a lift, which is super convenient. The apartment is located right in the center with shops and eateries just outside the doorstep. The host was lovely too and very prompt in communication.

Very nice and helpful hosts. Excellent view. Perfect location. Rooms were big and crispy clean. Authentic Italian old house with wooden floors.

I had read the previous reviews and yes Roberto has thought of everything you might need. The apartment was in a old renovated building, it was spotless, it looked newly refurnished it was quiet,comfortable bed,location wise too, a 5 minute walk to the ferries ,bars and restaurants and bars all close by.
