The guesthouse was cozy, clean, and full of charm, with stunning views over the valley. Our host was incredibly kind and welcoming, always making sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed. The food was delicious and homemade, and the evenings under the stars were truly special. Thank you for this beautiful experience, we left with full hearts and unforgettable memories. This is literally the house of waleed’s grandfather in the old village of Dana, which he renovated as a small hotel. The generosity and hospitality and warmth of the family is what makes it so special — I stayed only one night but left with so many wonderful memories. I speak some Arabic, so my particular experience may have been extra special—but I feel like anyone with a heart will feel at home. My day in Dana was honestly the highlight of my time in Jordan—not as flashy as Petra or wadi rum, but absolutely stunning and full of genuine and wonderful people. It is rustic — so if you really need a modern style hotel, this is not your place. But it was cozy and comfortable and warm and wonderful; what more could I hope for?

His valuable suggestions and detailed explanations of the map alleviated much of the stress, especially considering we were navigating with senior citizen parents. The rest of the hotel staff were equally friendly and accommodating. The facilities and room were top-notch, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The food exceeded our expectations, with both buffet and a la carte options available. Every dish we tried was delicious, and the staff even surprised us with pastries for my sister's birthday. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the Petra entrance made it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Petra.

We avoided crowds, saw the best views, and truly experienced the magic of the area. We left with unforgettable memories and new Jordanian friends.
