The room I had was a good size, with its own fridge/freezer to keep stuff in and a TV and desk. There's a shower room for everyone with two washer/dryers free for all to use, and also a separate 'bathroom' with another washer, sink, toilet, and bath/shower so that women can lock the door and have more privacy. Water coolers and microwaves on both floors. The staff were so friendly! There was a warning about a bear in the area so the host drove me to and from the station every day, and one evening even took me on a drive to see the local sights. You can take a train into Aomori quite easily too.

It makes me feel home the first second I stepped into the common area. I got onsen bath powder to enjoy a relaxing bath with great nature view, put our food into the spacious and clean refrigerator for cooking dinner, enjoyed the all you can drink beer and aomori apple juice and even used the washing machine to clean the clothes since it is the mid of our vacation!

Surrounded by Apple trees and Sakura trees. How nice to be woken up by cuckoo birds in the morning. We will definitely come back if we ever visit Aomori again. Mr Aki was very helpful with our trip planning too.

It was a beautiful and homely stay! Great start to our trip in Japan/Aomori. The host family was very kind and the children were really cute! We got dinner on our first night and breakfast on our last day. We bought some of their honey as well (self-harvested!) Really fresh and delicious home-cooked food (different from the oily city food I am used to). The futons were sooo comfortable too! It's really like living with your relatives (a home/farmstay rather than a hotel so keep your expectations aligned) We love it though! Separate shower and toilets (they do provide bath towel & face towel!). There's a fridge too! We took a walk around the farm/forest and the host showed us his mini waterfall as well :) To be honest, I was a little afraid of the stink bugs but it's not as bad as I thought (mostly harmless and the host teaches you how to capture them). There's an old traditional heater where they will burn firewood so it might get a little chilly but the futon keeps you very cozy.

The nebuta art in the lobby is pretty. The staff are helpful. Check in starts earlier at 2pm compared to most places. Room is clean. The staff do daily cleaning (bathroom quick clean, change towels, make bed). Hotel breakfast is ok but pretty basic for the price. You’d have to eat a good amount of the seafood to make it worth it.
