The host, Michikusa, was very good with communication and offered to collect me from Kawaguchiko train station as well as drop me off the day I departed. This was a great help and very much appreciated! On check in Michikusa recommended a few points of interest to visit during my stay according to the weather. I managed to tick most of them off which made for a great day exploring the beautiful surrounding nature. The hostel is well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was a pleasure staying there and I would 100% return on my next visit! Thank you!

Location is very good…not too far from Nagoya station. Our room faces the small park in front, so it was really nice to look out into the trees. Staff were nice and polite. And it was easy to find food.

Kaname Inn Tatemachi is set in Kanazawa, 800 metres from Kenrokuen Garden and 1.1 km from Kanazawa Castle. The location was perfect — right in the heart of Kanazawa. We especially enjoyed the vinyl music bar with its live DJ, cozy vintage vibe, and great cocktails. The facilities were modern and had everything we needed, and everything was spotless and well maintained. A very pleasant stay overall!
