We loved our superior room which was huge in comparison with other we stayed at. Everything from approaching the hotel to check out went smoothly. The cafe/bakery, rooftop bar and the restaurant were all top notch. Great breads, coffee, food and drinks and friendly service. Many sights and temples are within walking distance from the hotel. We enjoyed our walks in the area both day and evening and we would definitely stay here again next time we are in Kyoto. Highly recommend.

Attractively located in the Shimogyo Ward district of Kyoto, Wander Kyoto Nanajo is situated less than 1 km from TKP Garden City Kyoto, 1.8 km from Gion Shijo Station and 1.1 km from Kyoto Station. The 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi. The property is 2.3 km from the city centre and 800 metres from Sanjusangen-do Temple. The room was larger than expected. The bathroom and the room was extremely clean. Kyoto Station is 10-12 mins walk away. The Keihan railway station is 2 mins away as well as the bus line for Gion. We walked to and fro Gion on most days since it was just 25 mins walk. There is 7-Eleven right opposite and plenty of restaurants around. The area is relatively quiet compared to Gion. The hotel offers pyjamas and all other amenities needed for stay. The room will be big enough if you carrying large luggage bags.
