The room was really spacious, the bathroom too. The breakfast was good, Moses who was managing the place is very kind and helpful. It's very close to the pier and it was easy to reach.

The hotel is so nice and cute and beautiful- very authentic Lamu! It’s perfectly placed in old town. Loved the architecture and staff! So friendly !

Mostly, I was totally relaxed and the longer O stayed, the more relaxed I became. It is very well maintained and beautifully renovated hotel in the middle of the old town of Luma. Great effort has been made to reduce its environmental footprint and it is very eco friendly.

There are a lot of good and not expensive restaurants around. The owner of the house did all to make it more than comfortable, arranged a pick up from the airport, gave me a free upgrade of the room, asked every day if I need or wish something, helped to find a amazing boat tour and enable to stay in the house a few hours longer. Riyadha Mosque is 600 metres from the guest house. The location was great! The room is comfortable and good value for money and the rooftop was very nice.

Umma House has a terrace and is situated in Lamu, within just 400 metres of Lamu Museum and 500 metres of Lamu Fort. Guests staying at this villa have access to a balcony. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and 18th Century Swahili House Museum is 200 metres away. Thanks to the housekeeper Fadir our stay was 10. We spent 3 nights in the house with all the comforts and the incredible kindness and closeness of Fadir. He gave us many recommendations like the guide Abu who show us around very professionally and close, everything was in detail. We also thank the cook Barak who came to make us breakfast and dinner, it was incredible! If we ever come back to Lamu we will come back to Umma. Asante sana!
