The host speaks excellent English and gave us lots of information about Sri Lanka and things to see. The room was quiet and comfortable, the food was excellent! He helped us book a tour of the tea fields and factory and the tour was amazing. Highly recommend!

An absolutely delightful stay, our host Rajith and his family went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. His suggestions to places we should check out and trek to were spot on. The breakfast in the morning was excellent and if you're planning on a trek you can request for an early breakfast. We highly recommend this place. We had a large room and the bathroom was outside the room but It was absolutely fine and comfortable. Thanks again Rajith and your family for your hospitality.

Everything. The staff were amazing and were always ready too help with anything. It rained the entire time we were there so we couldn’t sightsee much. The satellite tv stations and the exquisite meals made up for it. The bathroom had a deep bathtub with great shower pressure. One of the highlights was the heating blankets which made a difference in the cold nights. We would definitely return again.

Location is quite convinient between centre and Gregory Lake. Maybe the nicest restaurant in town, Themparadu, is right next to the hotel. Extremely nice and helpful staff in reception. Breakfast was good, could choose between sri lankan and english breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay here, it felt like staying in a cozy home. After moving from hotel to hotel, it felt so nice to come into a warm and comfortable home with a cozy bed. And I liked that dinner and breakfast takes place at a big family table with other guests, once again it felt cozy. But above all, I have to give credit to the incredible service we received. I arrived with a very bad cold, slight fever, etc. Soon after we arrived and he saw I was sick, Madhavan came to our room with a steaming bowl with ginger and lime leaves and some ayurvedic medicine to help with my congestion. He repeated the same action twice more during our stay, and was so so kind, bringing me tea constantly, asking how I was, etc. All the employees at the hotel were above and beyond with their service and attention, and Madhavan's kindness with me will be remembered long after our trip. Oh - and they have a gorgeous swing in the garden where you can lounge about and read on. If you're tired of staying in impersonal hostals and are looking for a cozy stay in a big comfortable house, look no further :)
