TIP: the sunrise hotel which is just down the road let's you swim in the amazing big pool for the day if you rent a sun bed off them. It was 2000 rupiah per person and we also had lunch there.

The Beach is very nice, Although it was stormy and Not very clean (off season) but we were the only ones and it was very very nice! We can really recommend to stay at cocoville

In Pasikuda everyone looks at you like you're walking money. The only honest people I met was Runi (the owner) and his family, and Robinson the tuktuk driver.

Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Excellent service, delicious breakfast, a peaceful environment, and a beautifully clean property. Walking distance from Kalkudah beach (not for swimming), very quick tuktuk to Pasikuda beach. Excellent food and juices, excellent staff. Best pool in Sri Lanka, swimming under the stars was magical. Many fruits, vegetables, and spices grown on the property. Amazing, caring staff.
