The breakfast in the morning was amazing, definitely the best we've had in Sri Lanka at our hotels. Big and delicious! The mosquito net in the room was very nice as well. The family running the guesthouse were also very lovely and helpful. I would absolutely recommend to stay here.

My stay at Taavetti was nothing short of magical! Roshan and the Team made me feel incredibly welcome and taken care of: from the first moment I arrived they made sure I had everything I needed. They organised dinner even though the restaurant wasn’t open (and it was fantastic), got me breakfast at 6am, and even made me a sandwich as I arrived very late. I also got an amazing massage 2 nights in a row despite changing schedules. Hospitality pure. The Hotel is tastefully decorated, a calm oasis with beautiful details and a very comfy bed. I’d give this place an 11/10.

It was a really nice stay with a very friendly service. There is no kitchen or kettle in the room but you can use the kitchen upstairs which is great. Nice view on the terrace and plenty of space to relax. Breakfast was really good. It's a short walk to the closest beach but the beach with more bars and shops are a bit longer walk away or tuk tuk away it wasn't an issue for us but keep that in mind.

Ideally located in a nice central street of the Galle Fort, this beautifully renovated colonial house is perfect. Very warm welcome from the people managing the place, very quiet area and room, at our arrival, and all along the stay. The Villa is decorated with a perfect taste and refinement, large common areas, a nice yard with trees, grass, amchairs and garlands of lights at night. We stayed in one of the 2 rooms at the frist floor. Our room was very accommodating and spacious, with a kettle for making tea and coffee. Here also a refined choice of teas. The bathroom was huge with every possible comfort and nicely decorated. The value for money was really good. Do not hesitate one second!

A free tuktuk will take you to the beach whenever you want, as well as from the beach back to the hotel. They also have their own morning safari boat, on which we saw a lot of animals and magical mangroves. If you are headed to Bentota, book this hotel without hesitation!
