The little fireplace was on and burning for us when we arrived so the cabin was toasty warm. The kitchen has all the basics you need, and other things that are great to have, like a vegetable peeler and a food container. The grocery store is not too far, maybe a 15min drive. The location in the mountains is beautiful. The WiFi works fine.
