Breakfast was included with our stay and they insisted on waking up early to prepare it even though we had to wake up early to drop off our rental car in Cancun. Parking is on the property behind a closed gate. I would definitely stay here again.

What an absolute gem of a place. Jill and Randy were lovely and incredibly hospitable. They made so many memorable moments like feeding the gulls and little snacks by the beach. It was also my partners birthday whilst we were there, and they made it so special for her, and we are very thankful. We will certainly be back next year, and we already can't wait. Thank you!

Breakfast was great. I got fruit, yogurt with muesli, eggs, toast, juice, tea, etc. The two staff members that I conversed with were very helpful and very friendly. And the kitties… well I love cats.

A spectacular property in the forests with: - gardens that are manicured just at the right level - its own cenotes (you can swim in one semi-open one, not sure about the other ones) - its own cave that you can visit with a (Spanish) guide - a mirador just like in the pictures (only open in the morning and evening, but I'm sure if you asked you could go up during the day) - a bonfire place near the tents - a spa for massages Everything is beautifully designed and so well thought through. A few notes: - When we were there in July, the place was very quiet, which added to the magic. - In my head, I had expected more jungle (could have probably known better with more research). The "jungle retreat" was less jungl-y than a number of places we had come from between Valladolid and Celestun. No howler monkeys, no big snakes, etc. (I don't think) However, we did see a grey fox (!), iguanas and lots of beautiful birds and butterflies. - Because I wanted a full jungle immersion experience, I had booked a tent - they have a lot of "windows" and I thought you would be closer to nature than in a concrete house. However, since we visited in July with 36° C and high humidity, we decided to move to a suite (with AC; the tents have fans only of course). They were absolutely gorgeous (a shower open to the sky! a whirpool! a daybed! two hammocks!) and because there weren't very loud jungle noises at night anyway, I don't think we actually missed out. - The restaurant was great. You can probably drive to Tekit (we didn't), but I'm not sure there are many decent alternative food options there, so you might be a bit limited. - We brought many bottles of water. Turns out this was unnecessary - you get water everywhere. - Communication works via WhatsApp; they were very responsive and helpful. - The staff happily drove elderly people around in buggies. - This is a place to go to for pure relaxation. - The Internet was no problem at all.

The bed and breakfast features an outdoor swimming pool and a housekeeping service. Our room was large with a very comfortable bed, lots of drawers to unpack and a nice big shower. The building is a beautifully renovated older building with a pool at the back. Breakfast every morning was delicious. We were within walking distance of the main square, 60th which had lots of shops, many restaurants and Paseo de Montejo. A great location just off the beaten track. Note, the doorbell is high on the left side of the door frame.
