I loved hearing the Howler Monkeys up on the mountainside from late in the afternoon until after sunrise. Good birding out on the main road, too.

Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. My partner and I was able to have the whole resort to ourselves. We came during an off season and was pure lucky. We stayed in the Honeymoon suite and absolutely loved it. The pool steps was right at the entrance of our room. The food was really good and the atmosphere and views were amazing. We also took a couple tours; Catarina and Granada., and opted for the massages. Leaving the resort is definitely worth the trip to experience the culture. The staff also took fantastic care of us and the owner is more then helpful and very communicative. We highly recommend staying here.
