The location is perfect to break your journey and the town is charming. The rooms were fabulous — Scandinavian chique — and the kids loved the upper loft area where they slept. The hotel staff was fantastic and were super accommodating. We arrived late and called in advance asking if we could still eat in their award winning restaurant. While we couldn’t have the standard 5 course menu, they kept aside main course and dessert for us. The meal was the best we had in the trip and the service and hospitality was outstanding!

We enjoyed it very much and the scenery was quite fantastic. Since we loved the dogs we always joined for feeding them breakfast and dinner. Recommend to go food shopping on your way to the lodge and to use the well equipped kitchen for home made dinners :)

Near to popular tourist destination Roros but still peaceful and quite. We had amazing stay in the wonderful cabin. The home was well equipped and amazing for a 4 people. We were able to witness snowfall in may end at this place. The property was exceptionally clean and nice. Peaceful and lovely.
