Beautiful property, lovely decor and amenities, perfect location - easy walk to Eden Park and Ponsonby Road for restaurants etc, and a short Uber ride to both the city centre and ferry to Waiheke Island.

The location was perfect as it was a 5 minute ride down the road to Sky City and a stones throw from the Airport (which btw works out cheaper to take an Uber as opposed to a cab) The bed was comfortable, the room catered to my needs and because it wasn't far from the City centre, well that was absolutely AWESOME!

Location was central, good place to stay if youre wanting an upgrade from a shared hostel room. Facilities and amenities were the bare minimum which is to be expected at this price point. Cant hear city noise from my room and only seldomly from other rooms. Found the double room to be perfectly spaced for one person

Absolutely lovely and homey! I felt so at peace In this location. The view from the window is absolutely amazing. The hosts were super lovely and extremely helpful with best locations to eat and see. The Holiday Inn Express City Centre is located on a steep road, but there are often steep ups and downs. The reception level is more like a motel. My room is small, but everything is ok. The view from the highest floor, the 19th, is beautiful. You can see skyscrapers and the Sky Tower. There is plenty of coffee, tea and, as usual in NZ, milk. Overall a very good and attractively priced choice. The location is very good. There are many restaurants within walking distance.

Location is excellent, very handy to downtown Auckland and easy walking distance to Spark arena, food in the restaurant was excellent and the bar had happy hour on while we were there so drinks were a good price, would recommend and will certainly book again.
