You can hear the waves and enjoy life. The kitchen is clean an stocked with good supplies to cook. Bring Food there is really no grocery stores unless you want to take a bus ride into Bocas Town which is 30 minute one way. The bus stops right in front of the location. There are a few restaurants close by. The rooms are basic and the walls are thin but I found most guest to be respectful and lovely. This is not a party house or location more of a quiet family or solo traveler spot. The beach right outside is good to walk on. The trail to StarFish beach has many options to relax in the ocean and enjoy life.

Absolutely fabulous stay, loved every second of it and I struggle to think of anything they could have improved on to be honest. We were there for two nights and were the only guests who didn’t heed the news of the civil unrest en route and boy did it pay off! After communicating with Marco we knew it was safe to continue travel to the ‘BnB’ and the journey was absolutely fine with no delays or disruptions. The benefit of us knowing the journey would be fine was that we had the whole place to ourselves, other than Marco and his team (Ray who makes the BEST breakfasts and their colleague whose name fails me right now, who sets the rooms up immaculately) there were also two adorable dogs and two beautiful cats on site (all local rescues) who all came together to make our stay feel just like home. Their tagline on the welcome guide full of local tips, recommendations and discounts is ‘Welcome Home’ and it was spot on! They have thought of everything and went out of their way to make our stay as memorable and comfortable as possible and some. The weather wasn’t fully on our side for our stay but it was chilled, with beautiful views from both the open air deck and sheltered hammock area, impeccable service and we had practically the choice of the rooms, even after an immediate upgrade. The place is only a few minutes walk from the livelier centre but it’s 100% worth it, after extensive travel over the last 10 years this is comfortably the best all round experience I have had and I would recommend to anyone to book this wonderful property for your stay in Bocas Del Toro (and already have). Also worth noting that within the welcome guide there are discounts offered on recommended restaurants and activities in BDT, we benefitted from these twice in restaurants and once in a bar and they were 10/10, Marco even booked our onward transport from BDT at a far better price than we’d found ourselves.

We had a great stay and the food was delicious. The property is a few minutes from the town, in a lovely setting. The hosts worked hard to make a great stay for everyone.

The rustic and ecological Tesoro Escondido Lodge & Cabinas offers accommodation in Bluff Beach. Located in a secluded area of Colon. Bocas Town is 5 km from the property. Free Wi-Fi is available. Good location, beautiful rooms with a sea view. Nice big beds. Lots of hammocks around the common areas. Private beach just few steps away. Bluff beach and paunch beach near by. Fully approved, 5/5.

Tropical Suites Hotel is an oceanfront boutique property located in the heart of Bocas del Toro, Panama. Our room was excellent. Large, comfortable, even equipped with a kitchen and utensils. It had a nice view of the city. We had no problems with noise, even though we were pretty much in the city center. Everything is a quick walk away, and there are multiple boat terminals nearby. This is pretty much the only place with a pool, so it has a bit advantage there. In other places we've stayed at we don't have much to do if there are a couple hours to space, but here we can go chill near the pool, recharge, or have a drink or snack. The food in the restaurant is truly excellent. Even the included breakfast is really exceptional. The service is good, and even if this is one of the pricier places around, it's still cheap and an amazing value.

The location is simply spectacular: set in a gorgeous, colorful garden, surrounded by jungle and with beautiful views of the bay from the rooms and upstairs dining area. The waters were super calm, clear (snorkeling was excellent) and - best of all - teeming with dolphins. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have all the amenities you could possibly need. Staff is super friendly. Meals are copious and delicious. The owner, Brian, is the nicest of guys and went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as he possibly could. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the local fauna and flora: a true community minded ecologist and a lover of good music and excellent cocktail maker to boot. Thanks again for a truly memorable couple of days Brian!
