Definitely worth staying here for few days. The family is so lovely, kind and helpful. They also organized a trip to Taquile island and Uros Titino island for me, with small private boat for very reasonable price. Breakfast is included in price, they also offer lunch and dinner (20 soles per meal at the time of visit). Sometimes they skip the lunch due to a lot of work they have. Jesus (son of Valentin) also explained what is possible to do there, because there are nice places to walk around Llachon peninsula. You can also rent a kayak. Rooms are spacious and clean, with hot water, internet is working quite good. Be aware that it can get pretty cold there, especially during the night. But they have very thick duvets and extra thick blankets.

We were treated like royalty, and Isaac spent a lot of time with us teaching us about the Uros, their history and their culture. The accommodations were outstanding as well as their personalized service.

When I made the booking, I couldn't fully understand how a lodge could have a full score of "10" on both booking and Google. By the time we had our first meal there, we started to appreciate the effort and care our hosts put into this lovely place and understand why all the guests love this place! The lodge was clean, cozy, well-built, and beautifully decorated, in our guest room, on the deck, in the dining room...everywhere! Our hosts Juan and his wife took great care of us - Juan took us to the floating islands after we arrived at Titikaka and showed us around his neighborhood in the afternoon. He also told us what life is like for his family on the Titikaka. We were served delicious and fresh meals throughout the day in a lovely dining room. Eating in a cozy dining room with a window view of the breathtaking Lake was a memorable experience. We also had a chance to play with two of his kids and their house pets. Everything was lovely, I wish I stayed longer and I look forward to returning to this place!

The Lodge was located very nicely and the view, especially for sunset, was incredible. Eddy and his family are super nice people, we booked all-inclusive and had the 2h Uros-Boat-Tour on the day of our departure, which was very interesting. In addition, they did a great job with the gluten-free meals (as my girlfriend is coeliac).

Staying at Felix, is like staying at good friends place. Its really not that impersonal hotel stay but the real experience in how life is on Uros. Felix did everything to make sure our stay was as beautiful as possible and really made us feel like home. As we arrived super early morning he organized our transport and even let us get to our rooms early to rest a bit before having an amazing local breakfast, prepared by his wife. On sundays he took us to a local community soccer game and we could meet his friends and share a beer with them. if anyone wants to have the real Uros experience staying with Felix is the best choice. Thanks for everything, Felix!

Το Uros Samarana Uta Lodge βρίσκεται στο Πούνο και προσφέρει ηλιόλουστη βεράντα και θέα στο βουνό. Η λίμνη Τιτικάκα απέχει 7χλμ. από το κατάλυμα. We had a wonderful stay at the Uros Samaraña Uta Lodge. The family that hosts has lived on Uros island for generations and were a great resource to learn about the culture and history of the islands. We were well fed with 3 big meals a day and plenty of drinking water. Cesar, the main host, was very aware of our needs and made us feel well taken care of. It felt like a true homestay experience - not luxurious but very authentic. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

Το Uros Summa Paqari βρίσκεται στο πλωτό νησί Uros, 7χλμ. από τη λίμνη Τιτικάκα. Το λιμάνι του Πούνο απέχει 5 χιλιόμετρα. Όλα περιλαμβάνουν ιδιωτικό μπάνιο. Η τοποθεσία εξαιρετική. Η λίμνη, η θέα, οι πάπιες.. Ο Vidal με την οικογένειά του πολύ καλοί και ευγενικοί. Ο ίδιος ο Vidal μας έκανε και ένα tour στα uros, με μια μικρή πρόσθετη χρέωση αλλά άξιζε. Να σημειωθεί ότι μιλάει και εξαιρετικά αγγλικά, κάτι σπάνιο για το Περού. Είχανε ωραίο πρωινό και μας μαγείρεψαν και πολύ ωραίο δείπνο (έξτρα χρεώση αλλά αρκετά οικονομικό). Για το μεσημεριανό μας, μας πήγανε σε κοντινό νησί με εστιατόριο που φάγαμε πέστροφα. Καλό φαγητό και φτηνό. Το δωμάτιο πολύ ωραίο. Το βράδυ έχει αρκετό κρύο στη λίμνη, αλλά το κρεβάτι διαθέτει 7 κουβέρτες και η μικρή δίχρονη κόρη του Vidal μας έφερε 2 θερμοφόρες για έξτρα ζεστασιά. Το επόμενο πρωί, ο 10χρονος γιος του μας έφερε να γνωρίσουμε την Τίτη, την μικρή γατούλας τους. Δεν μετανοιώσαμε που αφιερώσαμε παραπάνω χρόνο στο νησί αντί του μεγάλου tour που προτείνεται γενικά. Τα είδαμε όλα σχεδόν (ίσως λίγα λιγότερα από ότι σε ένα οργανωμένο ολοήμερο tour) αλλά λιγότερο τουριστικά και πιο ήρεμα.

Το Taquile Familia Celso που διαθέτει κήπο, βεράντα και εστιατόριο, βρίσκεται σε Huillanopampa. It was clean, Celso was very friendly, and it was conveniently placed at the center of the island
