Basic, but at the price everything you need. Supermarket next door is really good, and within a 5 min walk in different directions lots of different good options for dinner. Daniel dosnt speak english but is happy to use translation apps. He showed me a few places around Iquitos at just the cost of gas and lunch. I returned for a night after my week in the jungle. He did ask if i need info on tours, but when I said I was good, it wasnt bought up again.

Amazon Dream Hostel is a perfect base for exploring Iquitos. The owners are very kind and helpful, assisting with travel planning and bookings. My room had a large window with a beautiful view over a river arm, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is convenient, and the atmosphere is relaxed. A great choice for a simple, well-run hostel!

Fantastic location away from hustle and bustle, bordering the river. Highly professional and helpful staff whom speak excellent english. very clean and practical rooms. Feels safe and peaceful. The interior garden is gorgeous. My room faced outward overlooking the river/jungle, and the sunset rising over the jungle every morning. Be aware that you have to keep windows closed at all time because of the bugs.

The room was very clean, and it was a nice surprise to find a fridge, kettle, closed toaster and plates and cutlery. The host was super helpful and responded very quickly. He gave me a number for a moto taxi to the airport, who gave me a good price.

This is an amazing spot!. Great location, central and quiet, which is a feat for Iquitos. The room is clean, comfortable, spacious, and well kept. It's got everything - a kitchen with all the basics for cooking, a warm shower, good quiet ac and ceiling fans, Wi-Fi and a beautiful view from the window. The staff is also wonderful. I felt very at home. I can't recommend this place enough. If i come back to Iquitos, I will for sure stay here again.
