Amazing place to stay in beautiful location close to start of walk to salt mines. Super helpful, friendly and flexible. Incredible views in the rooms. TV with Netflix. Clean rooms, bedding, towels etc. Waited up late to let us in. Breakfast available whenever we wanted. Didn't mind us working in breakfast room.

What amazing hosts, I travel heaps and I’ve never felt as cared for as at Ayllu. From walking me into town, organising horse trek and having the phase “no problem” for every question. Excellent room, fantastic location, a short walk from town or cheap 5sols tuk tuk, great mountain views. If I could give an 11, I would. Thanks heaps😃

The photos and descriptions don’t do this place justice. Located in a quiet valley half an hour’s walk (or a short drive) from Ollantaytambo the Las Qolqas Eco Resort by far exceeded our expectations. The friendly and helpful staff helped us with all our questions and requests, alongside the manager and the owner of the hotel. They also recommended a Machu Picchu guide for us (Porfirio - charming and very knowledgeable) and helped us with transportation to and from the train station to get to Machu Picchu (included in our room rate). The food on site is excellent, as are the drinks. There are fireplaces in each cabin which they’ll light for you at your request. You can admire hummingbirds from the comfy chairs on your veranda while you can hear the birds chirp and the sounds of the nearby river. We also did a lovely 2hr hike (each way) on an Inka Trail to the nearby Pumamarca Ruins which was amazing and we didn’t see any other tourists the whole way - a great way you get away from the masses. Las Qolqas was easily our favourite place we stayed at in Peru.

As family with kids we had a great stay. Short walk to train station, beautiful garden. Beds are comfy, nice hot shower. Coffee and breakfast were delicious. The host is really nice. Would stay again.

Very comfortable bed, clean bedding and bright. We slept very well. The shower hot water is good pressure. The internet is fast speed. The place is minutes on foot from the Plaza Mayor. Host is friendly and helpful. He helped organized a very comfortable car to Cusco.

Lovely people working here, even though Liz was not at the guest house at the time, she made sure that everything we wanted and needed was taken care of. Breakfast was wonderful, the room was nice and the location was great too. At our request, Liz also arranged a private driver for us to/from Cusco (at a fair price). Overall a great experience!
