It was really nice to stay and also the staff mostly kuya jeram he was really helping with everything, even when we checked out and needed help he was still there. Thank you kuya for that ☺️

The location was off the main road so noise wasn't a problem. The Wifi was recently upgraded to Starlink so it was super fast and reliable. The hosts were very nice and accommodating with lots of helpful suggestions to ensure we were getting the most out of our stay. The room was very large with a very comfortable bed, the bathroom was also very spacious.

The view is stunning - I could stare at the waves for days! I chose Trogon's Perch because I wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle of General Luna, I wanted to wake up in a beautiful room to a view of the ocean, and I wanted decent food since I was there to write. It completely delivered on all these, and then some! Details in the room I enjoyed - uninterrupted views, waking up to literally see the ocean, comfortable bed, long couch double glazed sliding doors, well thought design, cold water dispenser, ample lounge area and insulated walls (could not hear a peep from another room!) All of this beauty was only matched by the friendliness of the staff. Since I was there 17 days (yes I extended), I got to know them, laugh and even gossip with them, and they always bent over backwards for me, remembering any tweak of a dish or drink I wanted. And always with a smile! My favourite dishes - pacifico tuna, carpaccio de gambas and seafood pasta. Compliments to Sebas the chef!

Highlights were definitely the rooftop common area with the comfortable loungers, kitchen facilities and 360° views of the ocean and jungle and the pod style beds which were bigger than a twin and cozy with the curtains. The property was great especially on stormy days to take cover in the rooftop and relax. It’s really clean, and the staff are lovely & helpful.
