Marcio, the owner, was extremely helpful, the kitchen was equipped with all we needed, and there was a great atmosphere sitting in the garden and enjoying the unique atmosphere and aroma of Flores.

The pictures of this beautifully renovated cottage do not do it justice - it’s truly gorgeous with so many special touches from the nicest and most helpful host, Karina. In terms of location, I don’t think we’ve ever stayed somewhere so beautiful and I don’t think a base on Flores could be any more perfect than Fajãzinha for the views and incredible sunsets each night with some of the best spots - waterfalls, swimming and restaurants - mere minutes away in the car. Host Karina was so accommodating giving us lots of recommendations and tips for the island.

As a welcome present we got a bottle of vine which was very delicious. In addition to that all our questions have been answered by the owner beforehand and during our stay, he is a very nice guy.

They provided us with all the local tips and recommendations to have a great experience in the island. We were also very hungry when we arrived and Susanne offered us the most delicious Azorean almond cookies. Make sure to ask where you can buy them! The accommodation itself is amazing - each apartment is very spacious, clean and has all the comforts you need from coffee machine, stove and great WiFi. The cherry on the cake is the view from their place - absolutely astonishing, right on top of the sea. Can’t wait to go back!

Good water pressure and no problem with hot water. Fresh TV. Everything that needed on the well equipped kitchen

The property features quiet street views. Very large, fully equipped and stylish apartment conveniently located on the heights of Lajes. Access by car is easy. The hosts really did the utmost to make us feel welcome: they even managed to enable a very early check-in for us, as we arrived in the morning. Coffee tabs for the nespresso machine and other goodies were offered!, and a word of welcome (in French) on the kitchen whiteboard. We had detailed instructions for everything and humidity was not a problem at all! We did not cook, just prepared breakfast, and had little time to enjoy the view, as we were constantly on tour. Going out to restaurants in the evening requires driving… or uphill walking with a full belly, but even the latter is feasible.

The location is the best, very close to several restaurants, a supermarket and a bar with the ocean view and amazing coffee. The host left some food for breakfast for us which was very appreciated, and we especially enjoyed the local pineapple jam. The house had everything you need for your stay. It was clean and quiet. Highly recommend to stay here!
