Still, you can doze on a beautiful beach to make up for the lost sleep. The island itself is very unspoilt and tranquil. And the islanders are incredibly friendly and welcoming.

There is a picnic area and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. I stayed here 2 nights. My private room was inexpensive, had A/C and the room and bed were big and comfortable. The woman (Mama) who runs the place is very generous, thoughtful and kind. She only speaks Thai and I only speak English but we had no problems communicating. Her son also came by (he speaks both languages); They are a delightful family..quiet, friendly, respectful. This homestay location is out of the way, so you need to rent motorbike or taxi to get around (though I chose to walk).
