The restaurant food is excellent too! No need to carry money, they charge everything to your room. They arranged a lovely day trip for us. The pool is fantastic with lots of umbrellas, loungers and towels. Clean and well appointed property. Comfortable bed. I’m going to miss the open air shower with lots of hot water. The sunsets are stunning. Just a beautiful and quiet place.

Bhu Nga Thani Resort & Villas Railay enjoys a location with limestone beaches and mangrove forests nearby. It is a 25-minute boat ride from Ao Nang Beach and a 45-minute long tail boat ride from Krabi Town. The room was large and comfortable, and had a bath the size of a private pool. Breakfast was great with a juicing machine and tasty coffee which is a rarity in hotels in thailand. Kind and welcoming staff, scenic location, awesome pool. The staff tended in a timely manner to each issue we raised, for example, we had to leave early and missed breakfast so the hotel prepared breakfast boxes for us to go! Overall a great experience!

Located within 2.1 km of Long Beach and 5.8 km of Saladan School, Baiyok House provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Ban Ai Dao. This recently renovated homestay is located 6.1 km from Police Station and 14 km from Lanta Old Town. The homestay features family rooms. Such a fantastic guest house, run by the most accommodating, kind and attentive family. They went above and beyond to help us in every way during our stay at Baiyok house. The room we had was a great size, very clean and a generous double bed with wonderful views over a forest hill. Shower has great pressure and gets nice and hot. Turn downs, fresh towels and room refresh are done to keep it nice during your stay. We were unexpectedly provided a freshly cooked Thai breakfast on two of our mornings, which was absolutely yummy! One morning we couldn't have this as we went diving, but fresh food was generously prepared for us on our return which we didn't expect, but were really grateful for... If you're a diver you'll know what kind of hunger we had after 3 dives... So kind! On other mornings fresh fruit and some biscuits were available. There are various coffee sachets and biscuits available in the kitchen for any time of the day you fancy a snack and they kindly do all the washing up and keep the area really tidy. There's another communal area you can enjoy eating breakfast in to save any smell or crumbs in your room, our just to hang out in if you need a little change of scenery. It's a modern guest house with old school values which we found to be absolutely charming and generous. The location is great, just a walk across the main road and down to the centre of phra ae beach in five minutes. Plenty of nice eateries on the road, would suggest The Glass House & The Backyard. Really well stocked local supermarket a few doors down as well, for anything you need. Seven eleven also available but a bit further away. Also a place to do your washing just down the road, 3 min walk away, ours all came back smelling really fresh and no colour runs or missing items.

The rooms come with a balcony with garden views and free WiFi. Tee and Mark's bungalow was one of the most wonderful places we have ever stayed. We spent 10 nights here, arriving as guests and leaving as friends. Every night in the bungalow, we fell asleep to the sounds of the jungle and woke up in the morning to the sound of howler monkeys. Mark surprised us every morning with a generous Thai breakfast, so we didn't need to buy breakfast separately. We also tried Tee's restaurant several times: they cook heavenly food. The bungalow was cleaned every day and towels were changed daily. We also got a few bottles of water every day, which were stored in the refrigerator. There was a kettle and coffee powder, cups, and spoons in the room. Our bungalow didn't have air conditioning, but it cooled down so much in the evening that we didn't even need a fan. There were mosquito nets above our beds. We were able to rent motorbikes and were given lots of suggestions for things to do. Mark put together a list of his favorite places nearby. There is also a laundry not far from the bungallow, where you can drop off your clothes between 6 and 9 in the morning and they will be washed and ironed by the next day.
